Dr. Md Sadequl Islam is a Consultant Cardiac and Vascular Surgeon with over a decade of clinical experience in cardiovascular medicine. Since 2021, he has delivered high-volume, advanced surgical care, combining meticulous operative precision with a patient-centric approach to treating complex ischemic, valvular, and peripheral vascular diseases.
He completed his MBBS from Cumilla Medical College under the University of Chittagong in 2012, then trained at the National Institute of Cardiovascular Diseases (NICVD), Dhaka, the country's premier apex cardiovascular institute, where he earned his Master of Surgery (MS) in Cardiovascular & Thoracic Surgery in 2021. His residency there involved thousands of cardiopulmonary bypass procedures alongside complex critical care management and emergency thoracic interventions.
His practice today is grounded in evidence-based outcomes and modern surgical technique, spanning the full range of adult cardiac and vascular surgery — from coronary and valvular procedures to complex endovascular and vascular access interventions.
