Dr. S. M. Forhad arefin

Dr. S. M. Forhad Arefin is a Prosthodontist specialising in crowns, bridges, dental implants and maxillofacial prostheses, with more than 18 years of experience in dentistry and over 8 years as a prosthodontist. He completed his BDS from Sapporo Dental College, Dhaka (University of Dhaka) in 2008 and earned his Fellowship of the College of Physicians and Surgeons (FCPS) in Prosthodontics from the Bangladesh College of Physicians and Surgeons (BCPS) in 2018. He serves as Consultant at Bangladesh Specialized Hospital Ltd., Shyamoli, and as Associate Professor in the Department of Prosthodontics at Saphena Women's Dental College and Hospital, Malibagh, Dhaka, where he has taught since 2018. He previously served as Chief Dental Surgeon at Hitech Multicare Hospital Ltd. and as Honorary Medical Officer in the Department of Prosthodontics, BMU. He has additional training in fixed orthodontics and dental implants, has published in national and international journals, and is the founder and mentor of Upgrade Yourself, a prosthodontic training centre.
