Dr. Iftekhar Imam

Completed his graduation (MBBS) from Bangladesh Medical College under University of Dhaka in 2005. • Did his post-graduation training in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology for six years from Dhaka Medical College Hospital and BIRDEM General Hospital, some of the largest, renowned hospitals in Bangladesh • Worked with many renowned Gastroenterologists and Hepatologists in multiple reputed hospitals including BIRDEM General Hospital, Ibnsina Hospital, BRB Hospital and Impulse Hospital from 2012-2021. • Obtained MD in Gastroenterology in 2021 from BIRDEM General hospital, Dhaka. • He got hands on training in GI Endoscopy from British Society of Gastroenterology. • Trained in G.I. Manometry and Esophageal Motility Disorder from Menfis BioMedica, Italy • Before joining Continental Hospital, he did more than 1800 G.I Procedures, more than 70 conventional Esophageal Manometry and nearly 50 Capsule Endoscopy in various GI centers. • His special field of interest is in Liver transplant, Neurogastroenterology and Therapeutic Endoscopic procedures. • He attended many international seminars in Gastroenterology and have got publications in journals of abroad.
