Worked in BIRDEM as Associate Professor & Head of the Department of Nephrology from 2001 to 2007 where he led 25 kidney transplantations
Thereafter joined in Bangladesh Medical College and Hospital and served as Professor of Nephrology from 2007 to 2008
Served in Continental Hospital PLC as Consultant Nephrologist and Chief Transplant Coordinator from 2008 to 2017 leading 39 kidney transplantations
Worked in Asgar Ali Hospital Dhaka as Consultant in the Department of Nephrology from 2017 to 2018
Before re-joining Continental Hospital PLC he was working in Impulse Hospital as Senior Consultant in the Department of Nephrology from 2018 to 2019
