• Obtained MBBS degree from Dhaka Medical College under University of Dhaka in 1978 • Completed Diploma in Child Health (DCH) from National University of Ireland in 1994 • Completed FCPS from Bangladesh College of Physicians and Surgeons (BCPS) in 2007 • Achieved MRCP from Royal College of Physicians of Ireland in 2009 • Worked as Assistant Professor in the department of Paediatrics & Neonatology in Jahurul Islam Medical College & Hospital from 1994 to 2000 • After that worked in the department of Paediatrics & Neonatology in King Khaled General Hospital, Saudi Arabia from 2000 to 2005 • Joined and worked in Royal Hospital for Sick Children, Glasgow, UK as MRCP (Paediatrics & Neonatology) trainee from 2005 to 2006 • Thereafter he served in Maternity & Children Hospital, Sakaka, Saudi Arabia from 2008 till 2012 as Specialist Physician and Paediatric ICU Coordinator in the department of Paediatrics & Neonatology • Serving Continental Hospital as a Senior Consultant in the department of Paediatrics & Neonatology since 2012
